Legends Immersive Cinema Returns to Delhi with Van Gogh and Da Vinci in Digital Brilliance

Legends Immersive Cinema Returns to Delhi

Where Art Meets Algorithm: Van Gogh and Da Vinci Return to Delhi

Nestled within the atrium of DLF Promenade, New Delhi, a new dimension of art unfolds with the return of the Van Gogh Immersive Experience—now expanded and rebranded as Legends Immersive Cinema. Opening on May 24, this multi-sensory spectacle blurs the lines between classical art and futuristic technology, transporting visitors into the minds of Vincent van Gogh and Leonardo da Vinci.

Far from being a temporary installation or decorative display, the exhibition functions as a full-fledged immersive theater. By merging history with innovation, it brings artworks to life—surrounding guests in dynamic projections, soundscapes, and interactive design.

A New Language for Art Appreciation

The experience is the brainchild of DLF Malls in collaboration with Theia Enterprise India. It builds upon last year’s successful Van Gogh immersive shows across India and elevates the format further. In an era dominated by speed, screens, and consumerism, Legends Immersive Cinema reintroduces classical art in a format made for modern attention spans.

Visitors are invited not just to view but to enter the artistic universes of two of history’s greatest minds. According to Bert van der Ryd, Managing Director of Phoenix Immersive, “Visitors can now immerse themselves in the visionary mind and life of one of the greatest artists of the last millennium.”

The Da Vinci Experience: A High-Tech Renaissance

Spanning 4,300 square feet, the Da Vinci segment offers a cinematic immersion in engineering genius and artistic imagination. Thirty-five laser projectors illuminate the space, casting fluid visuals set to an original score by Grammy Award-winning artist DJ Sasha. AI systems and lidar sensors track movement and sound, transforming each visitor into part of the narrative.

The space isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a character in the story. The show uses architecture, sound, and advanced projection to create a living gallery where sketches become animations and ideas unfold as spatial journeys.

Van Gogh in Motion: A Symphony of Light and Emotion

In an adjoining section, over 300 of Van Gogh’s iconic works are brought to life in an immersive visual display. His familiar brushstrokes ripple across the walls in motion, capturing the turmoil, hope, and beauty of his inner world. The exhibit reframes his legacy not just as painter, but as a master of emotion conveyed through color and movement.

Every element of the show has been engineered with precision. The immersive environment includes a 270-foot-long, 16-foot-high custom screen made from non-perforated fabric, specially sourced and installed for seamless projection. All of this was completed in under 20 days, reflecting the architectural mastery behind the magic.

Built for Immersion, Engineered for Awe

According to Tabish F Khan, founder and director of Theia Enterprise India, the biggest challenge was finding a space that could meet the exhibition’s technical demands. “We needed a pillarless hall with a ceiling height of at least six metres,” he explains. After an extensive search, DLF Promenade emerged as the ideal site—one of the few urban venues that could accommodate the project’s scale.

From laser calibration to sound design, every detail of the installation was curated to push the limits of spatial storytelling. Behind the projected masterpieces lies a meticulous infrastructure that mirrors the obsessive brilliance of the artists it celebrates.

An Invitation to Step Inside Genius

Legends Immersive Cinema in Delhi isn’t just an art show—it’s an encounter with creative genius, reimagined through the lens of today’s most advanced technologies. Whether you're a seasoned art lover or a curious newcomer, this immersive journey promises to change the way you perceive both the past and the possibilities of visual storytelling.
